THIS year’s Your Southport Stars Awards winners have been revealed following a spectacular night of celebration.

Over 200 guests from local businesses and organisations attended the awards night at The Grand on:- Tuesday, 14 April 2026.

The Stars Awards, organised by Southport BID (Business Improvement District), celebrate the vital contribution and positive impact of Southport businesses, shining a light on the quality and diversity of the town centre business community.

The awards attracted entries from over 90 businesses and organisations, with 2 opportunities to win across 10 sector-specific categories.

The public voted in their thousands for the People’s Choice Award, whilst the Business Leaders Award was judged by a panel that selected winners based on success stories from the last twelve months.

It was a special night for new Lord Street venue Wine & Words By Watson.  The new café and coffee bar, which opened in summer 2025, walked away with the Business Leaders award for Café or Coffee Shop of the Year, as well as the New Business of the Year award.

Family-run Italian restaurant Volare continued their recent award-winning streak by taking home 2 prizes, including the overall Business of the Year award.

There were back-to-back successes for The Windmill, The Vincent Hotel, Waterstones, and The Print Quarter, who repeated their wins of last year across their respective categories.

Southport Bijou Cinema CIC, The Office Bar and Restaurant, Portland Hall Spa, and Roxy’s Café were amongst a host of other deserving winners on the night.

The Special Recognition award recognised Forget Me Not Dementia Café, a specialist community located at Southport Community Sports which caters for people living with dementia and their carers.

Kalash Divine Indian, which expanded its Lord Street location in 2025, was recognised with the Your Southport Innovation Award.
