LIVERPOOL´S award winning Stanley Park Market is set to return next week for its 3rd consecutive run.

The City’s largest weekday market will resume on:- Wednesday. 1 April 2026, with a special Easter event to celebrate the start of the new season, which will run until December 2026.

The 1st market of 2026 was initially due to take place tomorrow:- Wednesday 25 March 2026, however it is now unable to operate for health and safety reasons due to forecasted high winds.

From 1 April 2026, up to 100 stalls will descend on the Anfield park every Wednesday from:- 9am to 3pm, with traders selling items including:- fresh local produce, clothing, homeware, toys, pet products and more. Visitors can also choose from a range of hot food and drink stalls and meet friends or take a break from shopping in the large seating area.

Throughout the year, the market will host a variety of community groups and other local organisations to support people with their health and wellbeing.

The Easter Extravaganza event on:- Wednesday, 1 April 2026 will bring fun for all the family, with an:- Easter egg hunt, Easter arts and crafts, children’s characters, and an appearance from some small farm animals.

Health visitors and School Nurses will be in attendance to offer advice and information on:- childhood health, Everton and Anfield children’s centres will deliver arts and crafts sessions, and there will be a story corner hosted by Liverpool libraries.

Stanley Park Market was named winner of best community market in:- Britain 2025, and recently received a highly commended recognition at the 2026 British Market Awards.

The market will not run on days when there are evening football matches, or concerts held at:- Goodison Park, or Anfield Stadium, as the site is reserved for those events.

Liverpool City Council’s Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Culture, Councillor Harry Doyle, said:- “Stanley Park Market has become a beloved staple of our markets offer, so we’re excited to see it return for its 3rd season. The market has a real community feel to it; people can meet up with their neighbours, family and friends, do a spot of shopping, and have a bite to eat all while supporting local businesses. As well as:- Stanley Park, we have many other markets taking place across the City throughout the year, from:- our usual weekly offers like Greatie and Garston to our farmers and artisan markets and specialist one-off pop ups. All of our markets offer a real, local shopping experience and they are a fantastic way to connect neighbourhoods and support our local businesses and community groups.”
