Southport catering firm seeks 120 staff ahead of exciting year of events
The firm caters for events at its home at Southport and Birkdale Sports Club in Birkdale. D’Vine also operates at a number of other top venues across the North West, including:- St George’s Hall in Liverpool; Liverpool Town Hall; The Bombed Out Church in Liverpool; Victoria Park in Southport; West Lancashire Yacht Club in Southport; Houghton Tower Preston, Hobbit Hill in Clitheroe; The Tipis at Riley Green in Preston and several others. D’Vine CEO Giles Gottig said:- “We are kicking off this year with some really big events, starting towards the end of this month and then carrying on throughout the year. When we get into May and June it goes crazy! Our reputation for providing top quality catering is spreading and we have more and more bookings coming in. This is a very exciting and rewarding place to work. No 2 days are the same! We would love people to come and work with us, in a variety of roles. People with experience are welcome, but we can also train people who have not worked in catering before. We are going to hold a couple of training days. We offer great flexibility for our casual staff which will suit a variety of people. We are very proud to be a Living Wage accredited business, paying our staff aged 18 and over a minimum wage of £10.90 an hour. We want to pay people a fair wage for what they do. Ideally we would like to attract a casual bank of around 120 people to come and work with us, with our events mainly weekend based. We are looking forward to hearing from anyone interested.” D’Vine Catering has built a reputation for creative, affordable catering for a variety of clients. That includes:- many weddings each year, numerous bespoke corporate events, birthdays, celebrations, summer garden parties, plus top North West events such as Southport Flower Show and The Yabba Dabba Doo. D’Vine is excitedly looking forward to Lancashire County Cricket bringing a 4 day match against Hampshire to S&B on Trafalgar Road on 11 June to 14 June 2023, in addition to a couple of 2nd team fixtures and a much anticipated 1 day game between England and Australia’s Over 60's teams on 19 July 2023. The firm always goes the extra mile to create the perfect menu and atmosphere for whichever event it serves, creating menus tailored to suit each client’s taste and style of entertaining. var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-5165542-3']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
