ROWLANDS Pharmacy in Southport has installed a new Pharmaself24 machine; the market leading automated prescript on collection system that lets patients pick up their medicines 24/; to give patients added flexibility when collecting their prescriptions.

Located at the Upper Aughton Road branch, the automated prescription collection point provides patients with the ability to pick up their medicines whenever is most convenient for them. Pharmaself notifies patients by SMS text message on the status of their prescription; allowing them to avoid any wasted trips. After receiving a pin number via text, patients are asked to enter the number into the 24inch colour touchscreen, before collecting their prescription.

The machine has been met with enthusiasm by Southport residents, with many patients enthusiastically signing up to use the machine.
