Help Merseyside thrive by supporting people into work
A recruitment campaign for work coaches who will help hundreds of jobseekers in Merseyside make their next career move has just been launched.
Successful candidates will play a key part in the Government’s £3.5billion drive to get thousands more into work and grow the economy.
Work coaches play a vital role – helping people to find rewarding jobs, gain financial independence and fulfil their potential.
Denise, a Work Coach from Leeds, said the satisfaction she gets from changing people’s lives is priceless:- “I love my job. My big reward is watching my customers turn their lives around and get a job.”
Her colleague Kash agreed:- “Helping a customer find work gives me a real sense of achievement.”
Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Mel Stride MP, said:- “Work coaches like Denise and Kash are playing a vital role in our drive to help millions more into work, fulfil their potential and grow the economy. I encourage anyone in Merseyside looking for a rewarding role supporting people to transform their lives to apply and start an exciting career at the DWP.”
The DWP is advertising roles across the country over the next six months and applications in Merseyside will close on 14 September 2023.
