Edge Hill University ranked in the Top 4 Universities in the North West
EDGE Hill University is in the top 4 universities in the North West, according to the Complete University Guide 2024.
Every year, the Complete University Guide releases UK university and subject league tables to support prospective students in making informed decisions about their future.
The main league table is based on ten measures including: entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, research intensity, graduate prospects, student-staff ratio, spending on academic services and student facilities. Edge Hill’s top score was for student satisfaction.
Vice-Chancellor Dr John Cater said:- “We are very proud to have been placed in the top 4 in the North West and the student satisfaction score is particularly gratifying as our students are our number one priority. This recognition builds on the Modern University of the Year title we were awarded by The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide in 2022. You can see our award-winning campus for yourself, meet our students and get the answers to your questions at 1 of our open days.”
Edge Hill’s most recent achievements include recognition in the 2022 National Student Survey, being placed 2nd in the North West for learning resources; the Whatuni Student Choice Awards 2022, who ranked Edge Hill top five in the UK for university halls; and the Complete University Guide 2022 which found Edge Hill to be the safest university campus in the North West.
