Liverpool shows the world how to run the woulds most complex production yet
THIS year's 67th Eurovision Song Contest has been hosted by the BBC, in the UK, on behalf of Ukraine, following Kalush Orchestra’s win for their country in Turin in May 2022.
The Contest this year was a co-production between the EBU and BBC and it was the world's most complex production yet, involving a vast number of resources and people. Behind-the-scenes the event had approximately 6,000 production staff involved. Amazingly the production used 25 cameras, 150 microphones, and over 2,000 lighting fixtures, plus miles on miles of cables. Well done to all who took part in the production of this amazing show.
