Did you know that the Eurovision Song Contest is shown through 37 broadcasters thought Europe?
LIVERPOOL has the UNESCO ‘City of Music’ status and now it has become the 6th UK city to host the Eurovision Song Contest. So, why is this such a big deal?
Did you know that each of the 37 broadcasters are represented at the Liverpool ACC this year and that many are not just filming the Eurovision Song Contest, but also shooting footage, in and around the Liverpool City Region, to go along with the broadcasts? This exposure is extremely good PR for our local businesses and local communities, it just couldn't be bought... So how can we help? Just by being the normal friendly welcoming Region, we are day-to-day! It's not just the TV that will make people want to return, but also the experiences of the many visitors, from all around the world, heading to the event, who will also spread the word about how friendly we are. You can also show your support for the Contest, and also for Ukraine by flying both the Ukrainian flag and the Union Jack where possible. PARTICIPATING BROADCASTERS:--
