Merseyrail Leads The Way for Reliability In National Customer Survey
MERSEYRAIL has been named 1 of the UK's top train operators, securing the 2nd highest overall customer satisfaction rating in the latest Transport Focus Rail User Survey.
With an overall satisfaction score of 93%, Merseyrail retained its place as the number 1 operator for customer satisfaction in the North West, in the National survey that was conducted by the independent transport watchdog, Transport Focus. The City Region's rail operator also achieved the highest satisfaction score in the country for punctuality and reliability, achieving a score of 87% satisfaction in this measure and demonstrating its commitment to providing a dependable and customer focused rail service. The customer survey, which independently measures the satisfaction of rail customers across the UK, conducted surveys with rail users between:- September 2024 and March 2025. Merseyrail's Managing Director Neil Grabham welcomed the announcement of the results.:- "The last 12 months have been challenging at Merseyrail as we continue to work through the largest fleet transformation in a generation. I am acutely aware that there have been times where our punctuality and reliability have not met our own usual high standards. However, whilst individual disruptive events can often grab the headlines, I'm delighted that our customers continue to value the high quality service we aspire to deliver for them, day in day out. The data for the last 6 months shows that Merseyrail continues to provide 1 of the best rail services in the UK. These results are testament to the Merseyrail team, our partners and their passion for the service we deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region. We look forward to continuing to improve the service we offer." COMMENTS (0)
