New Mtogo Express store opens at Lime Street Low Level Station

MERSEYRAIL has today opened a new concept version of its hugely popular Mtogo stores at Lime Street Low Level Station.

The store which offers customers a range of snacks, confectionary, Costa Express hot drinks, and cold beverages, along with the popular Merseyrail memorabilia, all located within the existing ticket office. This provides customers with a more complete experience, offering both convenience goods and access to local and national rail tickets.

The opening of the store represents further growth of Merseyrail’s Mtogo brand, which already operates at several stations including Liverpool Central, Hamilton Square, Liverpool South Parkway and Southport.

The new Mtogo Express opens today, meaning that customers can grab their products from the start till end of rail service everyday.

Suzanne Grant, Chief Commercial Officer and Deputy Managing Director at Merseyrail said:- “As a gateway to the Liverpool City Region, our station at Lime Street Low Level is an important part of the Merseyrail network, supporting millions of customer journeys each year. We are delighted to be bringing a new take on our hugely popular Mtogo stores to this station, providing a convenient and new facility to cater for the large number of customers that travel through the station each year. So, whether you need a caffeine fix, are craving your favourite chocolate bar or simply need to buy one of our great value rail tickets, the new Mtogo Express at Lime Street Low Level will be the place to go whilst travelling through the station.”
