THE alleyways leading off Chapel Lane in Formby, are dull, dark, and according to Imagine Formby are often:- "dangerous". Imagine Formby and the Formby Heritage Center are now transforming them into bright, green, and artistic spaces with living walls, and street art, plus they will also be adding creative lighting. This is what the group is planning to deliver this summer:-
Imagine Formby Arts, Culture and Heritage Group say that:- "This project will benefit the local community by providing. Once completed it will lead to safer, more appealing passageways. Interest in local historical connections and our environmentally friendly spaces should prove to be an inspiration and joy for locals and visitors to the Village. We hope that these exciting new art features will lead to an increase in footfall, helping local businesses and improving the environment for the local community." What are your thoughts on the:- 'The 8 Alleyways Project' which is the 1st of several projects that aim to preserve Formby Village Centre's local businesses and improve the environment for residents and visitors alike?
