Go quackers with the GIANT Easter Duck Hunt at WWT Martin Mere
HAVE a quacking day out this Easter half term at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre, Burscough, with the GIANT Easter Duck Hunt.
From 29 March until 14 April 2024, WWT Martin Mere is inviting families to pick up a trail card for £1 and find 25 GIANT yellow ducks hidden amongst real-life wetland stars such as flamingos, otters, and white storks. Families will need to use all of their detective skills and search high and low, discovering which cheeky yellow duck is still missing. Can you work it out and win a tasty prize? Nick Brooks, Centre Manager at WWT, said:- "The GIANT yellow ducks have gone walkabout again out Martin Mere, but this time they’ve found brand new spots to hide in! We're having trouble finding them and need your help. Some will be hiding behind reeds, some have escaped into our Wild Walk, and some are being extremely sneaky hiding amongst our real birds. We've got a tasty treat for families that can help us track them down!" Easter is an exciting time at Martin Mere, as the centre welcomes back much-loved activities such as the Pond Zone and Canoe Safari. Delve deep into their ponds, or take to the waters with a canoe or guided boat tour. The craft room will also be open daily for a range of crafts, including rubber ducks which can be coloured and brought back to enter into the much anticipated Annual Duck Race, on Bank Holiday, 6 May 2024. Get the family together and spend some time in the great outdoors this Easter. For more information about Martin Mere and a full list of upcoming events, please visit their website. Normal admission prices apply, with WWT members and under 4s entering for free. var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-5165542-3']); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']); (function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ?
