S&Beer Festival back in Southport for August Bank Holiday Weekend packed with great food, drink, sport and music

SOUTHPORT & Birkdale Sports Club (S&B) will welcome families back this August for its annual S&Beer Festival, running from:- Friday, 22 August to Bank Holiday Monday, 25 August 2025 at its Trafalgar Road grounds in Birkdale.

The 4-day event will feature around 30 beers and ciders, a marquee, live music, family entertainment, and a range of sports including cricket, hockey, squash, and a children’s football tournament held in memory of Alice, Elsie, and Bebe.

Event organiser Chris Firth said:- “We’re really excited about this year’s S&Beer Festival, which keeps getting better every year. Last year over 2,000 people came to the festival, and we’re expecting even more this time. There’s always a great atmosphere at S&B.”

Live music begins from 6pm on Friday, 3pm on Saturday and Sunday, and 3pm on Bank Holiday Monday. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of food from D’Vine Caterers, 600 Degrees Pizza, JT AKSHAYA, JJ’s Caribbean Dining, and Cake Corner.
