Flamenco Great Andres Peña returns to Liverpool after sell-out show in 2022

FLAMENCO great Andrés Peña returns to Liverpool after his sell, beauty, energy and elegance to his 2nd show in Liverpool; coming to:- 'The Tung Auditorium' on::- Sunday 21 May 2023 at 7.30pm.

 

Showcasing the very best flamenco from Jerez, Andrés Peña will once again set the City alight with a breathtaking display of music and dance; performing alongside guitarist Miguel Pérez and Singer Miguel Rosendo. Liverpool is in for a real treat!
 

A master of improvisation, instinctive rhythm and connection with his musicians, Andrés Peña is revered as 1 of the most talented flamenco artists of his generation. Often serious, intense, and focused, his exceptional interpretation of flamenco songs develops into a virtuosic rhythm and exuberant celebration of the music that he loves.
 

Joining Andrés at The Tung Auditorium are the supremely talented Miguel Pérez and Miguel Rosendo; forming a trio of flamenco artists who have developed a telepathic relationship together. Together they have graced stages internationally and at big festivals for many years now and their shows are something to behold.

 

Miguel Pérez is a flamenco guitarist, in much demand by singers and dancers for his skills in accompaniment. Born into a flamenco dynasty and son of a flamenco guitar maestro, he began his training at the age of 8 and has won awards such as the Solo Guitarist prize in Nîmes (France).
 

Miguel Rosendo is a flamenco cantaor (singer) who began working at the specialist flamenco clubs around Cádiz and major tablaos in Madrid, Barcelona and Seville. He has since been sought out by many great flamenco artists, with whom he has toured internationally for a considerable number of theatre shows and festivals.
 

Organiser Sarah Chambers from Espiritu Flamenco said:- “The Liverpool show with Andrés Peña last year was truly captivating and the feedback was immense! The performance was spectacular and involved lots of improvisation; it certainly kept the audience on the edge of their seats! It’s great to get the 3 of them back again as they are very sought after artists. To bring such talent to the UK is a real honour and the Liverpool audience is in for a very special night indeed! It will be an absorbing journey, exciting and technically stunning; with exceptional choreography and music.”
 

Espiritu Flamenco brings Andrés Peña to The Tung Auditorium. on:- Sunday 21 May 2023. from:- 7.30pm, performing alongside the supremely talented Miguel Pérez and Miguel Rosendo. The night will consist of captivating flamenco dance, music and song from Jerez and tickets are £22 from The Tunf Auditorium website.
