The Formby Festival takes place this weekend!

The annual event aims to recreate the stunning Formby Shows that ran from the 1960's to 2022. It is now a regular part of the summer event calendar within the area, held on the 3rd weekend in July each year. The event has lots to see and do with:- live entertainment, a fun fair, inflatables, archery, paintballing, an assault course, a climbing wall, and lots more... Such as a craft tent with many amazing creations on show, such as jewelry and wood carving. Plus you can also enjoy the food from artisan bakers to cheesemakers! This year the event will see the return of the musical lights and firework display, themed for all the family on Saturday. Previous years at the Formby Festival have featured dozens of varied artisans involving:- cakes, furniture, bee-keeping, exotic gifts, and much more. Click here for more. This year expect the same... The event's food court will offer:- American, Asian, British, Caribbean, German, Italian, and more. Also, do not miss the Carnival events on Sunday! Event times:- Friday evening will open at:- 5 pm and close at:- 10 pm.
