HAVE you ever looked at the night sky and wondered what the stars are called or what the patterns they make in the sky are? Then come along ot our talk:- ‘Introduction to Astronomy’ by society member Bob Mount, find out where the Plough is and how to spot the North Star.
The meeting takes place, on 17 August 2021, at:- Scarisbrick Bowling Club, 1a Falkland Road, Southport, from:- 7.30pm until 9pm. Refreshments will be made available from the club bar.
Membership of the society is £15 per year: prospective members are very welcome to come to a talk for free before deciding whether to join. You will receive a very warm welcome!
