Man charged as Knowsley disorder investigation continues

MERSEYSIDE Police are continuing to investigate the incidents of disorder in Prescot, on:- Friday, 10 February 2023.

Following the was arrested on:- Friday, 10 February 2023, of 19-year-old, Jarad Skeete, from Aigburt, we have been informed that he has now been charged with Violent Disorder and Assault By Beating of an Emergency Worker.
 
Skeete was remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court, on:- Monday, 13 February 2023.
 
Our Newsroom has been informed that the remaining 14 people, who have all been arrested in connection to this incident, have been conditionally bailed, pending the outcome of Merseyside Police's extensive enquiries, which are still ongoing.
 
Merseyside Police added:- "We are continuing to gather all available evidence and would ask anyone with information, images, or footage to contact them via Twitter:- @MerPolCC or thought Crimestoppers anonymously on:- 0800555111, with reference:- '23000121093. ' Once again, we would remind people to pass this information directly to ourselves, at Merseyside Police, as social media speculation, and comments can jeopardise live investigations. Thank you."

Merseyside Police say more arrests and charges are likely to follow as the extensive investigation continues.
