Southport back packer missing in Malaysia

THE Mother of a British backpacker, Jordan Johnson-Doyle, aged 25, who has not been seen or heard from for almost a week has told the media that she is:- "numb" and "just wants to bring him home" ever since he has been reported missing in Malaysia.

Ever since the software engineer, from Southport, Merseyside, disappeared his family and friends have been trying to get in touch with him.

It is reported that Jordan phone is thought to have gone dead in Kuala Lumpur, on:' Friday, 30 May 2025. The family have told the media that his last confirmed location was the:- Healy Mac's Irish Bar, Bangsar, at around:- 8pm, on:- Tuesday, 27 May 2025, when he sent his friend Owen a photograph of the pub's quiz night poster.

His Mother Leanne Burnett has reporting Jordan as missing to both Merseyside Police, and the British Consulate. She has also contacted the Police in Malaysia.

Southport's MP Patrick Hurley has also said that:- "I've contacted the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office’s consular assistance department and urged them to do all they can to work with local authorities abroad to help establish the whereabouts of Jordan. My thoughts are with Jordan’s family and loved ones during this incredibly distressing time. I will continue to do all I can to support them."
