MERSEY Ferries is pleased to confirm service arrangements and special cruises over the upcoming Bank Holiday weekend, including enhanced operations to support the Liverpool FC Parade and a unique Cunard cruise experience.
Bank Holiday Monday – 26 May 2025:- LFC Parade shuttle service
To support travel during the Liverpool FC Parade, a direct cross-river shuttle service will operate on:- Monday, 26 May 2025 between 12:20 and 20:30, offering return tickets only. This service is expected to be extremely busy and will run at full capacity, so passengers are strongly advised to plan their journey in advance and allow extra time for travel.
Tuesday, 27 May 2025:- special Cunard cruise – Queen Anne returns
On:- Tuesday, 27 May 2025, Mersey Ferries will operate a special Cunard cruise to mark the return of the Queen Anne to Liverpool – her 1st visit since the official naming ceremony last year. This 1-off cruise provides a rare opportunity to view the iconic liner in dock and celebrate the continuing legacy of Cunard on the Mersey.
Regular Services – All Weekend
Throughout the Big Weekend, Mersey Ferries' River Explorer Cruises (REC) and Cross-River Services will operate as normal, connecting Liverpool and Wirral with spectacular views and relaxing river travel.
