THE Judge passing the sentences of the Southport Killer Axel Rudakubana has taken place today, 28 January 2025.

At Liverpool Crown Court, Mr Justice Goose, has sentenced Axel Rudakuban, 18, to be jailed for a minimum of 52 years for the murder of the 3 young girls at the Taylor Swift dance class in Southport.

Mr Justice Goose said the sentences for Rudakubana's offences will run concurrently; not consecutively. This means they will be served at the same time. He added that it is highly likely Rudakubana will ever be released.

A full breakdown of the sentencing will be added on our feeds soon.

Sentencing of Axel Rudakubana was done under English and Welsh Law, under the Sentencing Act 2020/2021.

Please remember that we are following English Law when reporting, and trying to respect the requests of the families and victims involved. This means we cannot publish all the information we are aware of.

We have been alerted by Merseyside Police of some social media accounts posting misleading information and also references to the victims.

Please give space to those affected by the events that took place on that tragic day.
