"MY name is Jay Oliver and I work at:- Christ the King School, in Southport, Merseyside. My colleague and I are taking part in a run to raise money for our Schoolhouse charities, Queenscourt and Southport foodbank. I am writing to ask if you could put the following details on your social media, to give us more coverage to increase the amount of money that we can raise for these amazing charities. Here are the details of our event. On Thursday, 16 May 2024, Mr Oliver and Mrs Durkin are running a 2 part relay from:- Christ the King Catholic Cathedral, in Liverpool, back to Christ the King Catholic High School, Southport. Both runners will complete 9.5 miles and pupils from Christ the King School will join them for the last mile of the run. The money raised from the event will be split evenly between our School chosen charities:- Queenscourt Hospice, and Southport Foodbank, of which our pupils have chosen both. Donations can be made on our Just Giving page via the following link. Alternatively, you can go onto the Just Giving Page and type in CTK2CTK. Please help us to raise as much money as possible for these worthy charities. Any donation is much appreciated and will help so many families in our local community. Your readers can donate on our Just Giving Page." Jay Oliver, Christ the King Catholic High School.
