Man charged with alleged theft of Bitcoins
MERSEYSIDE Police on:- 12 March 2024, has charged a National Crime Agency Officer, Paul Chowles, 42 years, from Bristol, with 15 offences relating to the alleged theft of 50 Bitcoins, worth nearly £60,000 in 2017, during an investigation into online organised crime.
Following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service Paul Chowles has been charged with 11 offences of concealing, disguising, or converting criminal property, 3 offences of acquiring, using or possessing converting criminal property and a single count of theft. Merseyside Police have informed us that he will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on:- Friday, 25 April 2025. COMMENTS (0)
