Peel NRE Managing Director steps down after 22 years
PEEL NRE Managing Director, Myles Kitcher, has announced that he is stepping down from his role after 22 years running Peel’s Natural Resources and Energy business.
Myles has been instrumental in the creation of the Peel NRE business that invests in the low carbon and circular economy sectors. Its investments cover energy from waste, renewable energy, electric vehicle charging, district heating, and materials management. It also includes the development of Peel NRE’s flagship strategic energy and resource hub, Protos, which has delivered over £550 million of investment to date. Myles is a founder member of Net Zero North West and has chaired the organisation. Myles in a press statement has said:- "I have decided to step down from my position as Managing Director of Peel NRE. Peel has been a great and supportive place to deliver innovative and forward-thinking investment and development. It has been a fascinating and fulfilling 22 years but now is the time to explore new challenges at an exciting time for the sector. I wish everyone in Peel all the very best for the future and look forward to seeing the Company continue to grow and develop.
