THE huge, free Ormskirk Festival returns after a successful inaugural event last August! Featuring food and drink stalls, market stalls, live music and more, the free event is taking place on Sunday, 25 May 2025 from 11am in Ormskirk town centre and is family and dog friendly — with something for everyone.

The food and drink extravaganza will offer a mouthwatering selection of food from around the world — from wood-fired pizzas to kebabs and a multitude of street food in between. There’ll be plenty of bars offering everything from craft beers to cocktails and plenty of fun, games and attractions. Anyone who claims a FREE TICKET will also enter a draw on the day to win a £50 voucher at The Green Room!

There’ll be market stalls and farm shops selling a range of artisan goods, whilst there’ll be top live entertainment on offer throughout the day from some of the best local artist and bands around. Live coverage of the event will once again be taking place courtesy of Liverpool Live Radio, with the opportunity for members of the public to get involved.

The free family friendly festival will have plenty of things on offer to keep the kids entertained — with free face painting, games, plenty of toy stalls and air cadets, scouts, the fire and police service and more. For parents wondering how to keep their kids entertained this May Bank Holiday, Ormskirk Festival offers something for all the family.

The huge free event is set to be one of the highlights of the year in the quaint market town and a celebration of the rich food and drink culture our region has to offer. On the day the event will offer free parking in the town centre to accommodate those wanting to travel from further afield.

Co-Organiser Ethan Allen said:- “There’s no better place to host such a festival than the beautiful market town of Ormskirk. We’re looking to celebrate its rich history of markets and trading, whilst honouring some of the incredible independent food, drink and retail traders of today. We had thousands of people attend last August despite the bad weather so we’re hoping for great weather and to build on that this year.”

He continued:- “At Ormskirk Festival, we feel passionate about our Town Centre and we want to bring the community together to enjoy a celebration of taste and creativity! With delicious dishes, creative cocktails, and loads of live entertainment, it’s going to be another amazing day for all the family!”
