WAYFARERS Arcade is 125 years old this year and talented local fashion designer Mark Lyon Taylor is to begin the celebrations by exhibiting a collection of vintage fashion that he has personally designed and made to the highest of standards.

The stunning and exclusive collection of dresses replicating fashion through the decades has taken Mark more than a year to make.

Starting in 1898, the year Wayfarers Shopping Arcade opened, the exhibition illustrates the changing face of each decade of fashion right up to the present day. It also illustrates how fashion replicates history and is a not to be missed event.

Many hundreds of people flocked to see the last fashion exhibition in Wayfarers when Mark exhibited a stunning, exact replica of Princess Diana’s iconic wedding dress that he had made, taking him many months.

Historical fashion exhibitions held in the past within Wayfarers have proved very popular with people from far and wide visiting, often more than once.

The Mayor of Sefton, Cllr Clare Louise Carragher, will open the exhibition, at:- 11am, on:- Tuesday, 4 April 2023.

The exhibition runs until:- Sunday, 23 April 2023, and is FREE to enter.
