FAMILIES are in for a frightfully fun treat this Halloween as ‘Fear By The Pier’ makes its debut at Kings Gardens in Southport!
Running from:- 11am to 5pm on Friday 31st October, Saturday 1st November, and Sunday 2nd November 2025, this brand-new event promises spooky surprises, ghoulish games, and plenty of family-friendly fun — all by the seaside.
The adventure begins at Silcock’s Pier Family Restaurant on the Promenade, where children can tuck into a Spooky Kids’ Meal and take home a ghoulish goody bag filled with Halloween treats.
Little monsters can then hop aboard the famous Silcock’s Carousel, or test their skills with 18 holes of crazy golf at the Masters Putting Green — all included in the £10 ticket price.
Keep your eyes peeled for Willow the Witch from Regally Royal Parties, who’ll be making a special appearance to cast some Halloween magic!
Event organisers Serena Silcock-Prince (Operations Manager at Silcock Leisure Group) and Charles Law (Director at Masters Putting Green) said:- “We’re looking forward to welcoming families to join us for our 1st ever Fear By The Pier Halloween event! We want this to be a really fun and affordable day out for families this October Half Term."
The decorations promise to be delightfully dreadful, with Silcock’s Funland already decked out for Halloween and packed with games and prizes.
Visitors can also explore Hall of Mirrors (free entry!) or pop into the restaurant for extra meals, drinks, and themed treats — including a green Halloween cocktail, spooky ice cream, and green candy floss.
Serena said:- "We want to offer real value for Fear By The Pier with £10 offering a spooky kids’ meal, 18 holes of crazy golf, a ride on the Carousel, and a ghoulish goody bag."
There will be plenty for families to enjoy all in one place, and organisers are encouraging everyone to come along in Halloween fancy dress, with ghouls, goblins and witches especially welcome.
“There are so many brilliant Halloween themed events and attractions to enjoy in Southport this October Half Term, with lots of reasons to visit our town. We’re delighted to be able to offer a brand new event that families will love”, added Serena.
So grab your broomsticks, don your fangs, and head to Kings Gardens this weekend — if you dare!
