REMINDER on 20 April 2023, we are having new systems installed at our Internet Exchange Point (IXP) by our network providers. This is planned work but will result in some downtime on our websites. The work was predicted to also affect our phone and email services, but thankfully the work WILL NOT now affect our phone lines or email services, just access to the websites for a short period of time.
The work being carried out is essential work and is not on our side of the network but on the IP Exchange side. The work taking place will see the:- "replacement and upgrade of part of the exchange system." Once compleated, the work will significently improve our connection capabilities.
We anticipated downtime of around 150 minutes, which will affect some of our phone lines, and will definitely affect our websites, along with some of our client's websites, between:- 1 am to 6 am BST, on:- 20 April 2023.
