Wanted man arrested at Liverpool John Lennon Airport
MERSEYSIDE Police have confirmed that they arrested a wanted male at Liverpool John Lennon Airport, at around:- 8 pm, on:- Sunday, 6 July 2025, following enquiries.
We are told that Matrix officers attended arrivals at the Airport following up on information they had received. The wanted man was detained with the assistance of Border Force Officers. Following a search, suspected cannabis and magic mushrooms were also reportedly found in his possession. The 24 year old male, from Old Swan, was then arrested on suspicion of:- Supply of cannabis; and Importation of Class A and B drugs. The suspect was taken to a Police Station for questioning and remains in custody at the time of writing.
