MERSEYRAIL has isued the following warning to all those using the Merseyrail network on Sunday, 5 January 2025.
The warning is as follows:- "The MET Office has issued an Amber Weather Warning for Snow and Ice across the Region over the weekend. On Sunday, 5 January 2025, the 1st services of the day on each line will run without customers, enabling the rail conditions to be checked before services can begin as normal. Customers are advised to check our website, app, and social media channels before travelling this weekend for the latest travel information."

The Met Office Amber weather warning issued for Snow and Ice across Northern England now runs until:- 11:59 pm, on:- Sunday, 5 January 2025, but could change again. Please check Met Office Website to see the National Severe Weather Warnings currently in place.
