For those using public transport, Hillside Station, on the:- Merseyrail Northern Line, is situated a:- 5 minute walk from the grounds, while the 47 bus service stops nearby. A designated drop off and pick up point will also be operational on the night.
The site is accessible for wheelchairs and prams, with stewards available to guide visitors to suitable viewing positions. Accessible toilet facilities and baby changing stations are provided in the clubhouse. Attendees should note that:- there is no cash machine on site; while some vendors accept card payments, bringing cash is advised. Visitors are permitted to bring low chairs and blankets, provided sight lines for other spectators are not obstructed.
Strict safety rules will be enforced throughout the evening. Personal fireworks, sparklers, flares, drones, glass bottles, and outside alcohol are completely banned from the grounds, with security checks taking place at the entrance. Pets are not allowed on site, and smoking or vaping must be restricted to designated areas. First aid personnel and a welfare point will be operational for the duration of the event. The fireworks display will proceed in wet weather, subject to overriding safety considerations. The clubhouse bar and selected stalls will remain open following the conclusion of the main display.
