FESTIVE revellers in Lytham will be able to enjoy a seasonal glide on the ice this Christmas for the 1st time in a decade.
 
What could be cooler than this...? Lytham on Ice this year will have a real ice rink in the heart of the Town!

Timed tickets for a:- 45 minute skating session start from:- £7.99 upwards plus booking fee, session are now on sale.

The special:- 60ft by 40ft Christmas attraction will be open from noon until:- 9pm each day, with longer opening hours at weekends, so skaters of all ages will have plenty of opportunity to take a spin and channel their inner Torvill and Dean.

And visitors to Clifton Square will also be able to savour the spirit of the season with a range of stalls on site selling fabulous festive food and drink.

If that wasn't enough, yuletide merriment is also set to come to:- Lytham Station and Sparrow Park with a brilliant Christmas market and rides on offer throughout the 5 week festival.

It all means there will be snow place like Lytham to enjoy all the excitement of the Christmas season this winter.

Lytham on Ice organiser Steffen Cubbins said:- "I'm absolutely delighted to be able to announce that this Christmas Lytham will be welcoming a real ice rink for the 1st time in many years. The reaction from people since Fylde Council approved our festive plans has been amazing, and I anticipate that sessions will be hugely popular, particularly with families and among groups of friends. So, you might want to get your skates on and secure your slot as soon as possible, especially for weekend dates and around Christmas itself. In addition, Clifton Square will also be full of stalls offering plenty of seasonal treats. And there will be more chance to get into the festive spirit with the Christmas market and rides taking over the station and Sparrow Park. All together it means Lytham really is the place to be this festive season."

Lytham on Ice is set to take over Clifton Square, from:- Saturday, 28 November 2026 to Sunday, 3 January 2027, and operate from:- 12pm Noon to 9pm weekdays, and:- 11am to 9pm at weekends (last skating session:- 8.15pm)
