The Friends of Old Christ Church - February's Waterloo Flea Market Event Cancelled
THE Friends of Old Christ Church Vice Chair and Event Organiser of Waterloo Flea Market, Karen Evans, has announced that the event that was due to be held on:- Saturday, 10 February 2024, has had to be canceled.
Karen Evans said:- "It's with regret that we have to inform your readers that due to soft and muddy grounds surrounding the Church, and more rain on its way. Unfortunately, the committee has made the difficult decision to cancel the event. We shall be re-starting 2024 Waterloo Flea Market, on:- Saturday, 9 March 2024. All of us at The Friends of Old Christ Church apologize for any disappointment and thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you soon." If you are unaware of this hidden gem, it is in Merseyside and is located on, Waterloo Road, in Waterloo, on the Northern outskirts of Liverpool (L221RE) If you are unaware of this hidden gem, Old Christ Church is now a conserved building that was saved from demolition in 1998 by the Churches Conservation Trust. The location now attracts over 20,000 visitors a year.
