UK Motorists Face Hefty Fines Amid Snow and Ice Warnings
THE UK Met Office has issued a Yellow Snow and Ice Warning has been issued for large parts of the UK, including Merseyside and West Lancashire areas.
The warning issued on 14 January 2024 comes into force at Midnight, on Tuesday, 16 January 2024 and runs until 11:59pm, on Thursday, 18 January 2024. The Met Office says:- "Frequest snow showers, perhaps merging into a longer spell of snow, are likely to cause disruption over this period." The Met Office says we should expect:-
