Re-opening dates for all 10 branches in the Liverpool area

THIS is an update following our report about the Post Offices closures. We still do not have the reason for the closures, but a Post Office Spokesperson has responded saying:- “We are pleased to announce the re-opening dates this month for all 10 branches in the Liverpool area that recently closed for operational reasons. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by the temporary, unplanned, closure of these branches on:- 5 November. Formby and Walton Vale re-opened yesterday and Woolton re-opened mid-afternoon on:- 18 November 2025.”

The details of all of the branches are:-

Formby – re-opened on:- 17 November 2025, at:- 9am.
Walton Vale – re-opened on:- 17 November 2025, at:- 2pm.
Woolton – re-opened on:- 18 November 2025, mid-afternoon.
Monument Place: re-opened on:- Wednesday, 19 November 2025, at:- 1pm.
Penny Lane: re-opening on:- Thursday, 20 November 2025, at:- 1pm.
Tuebrook: re-opening on:- Friday, 21 November 2025,at:- 1pm.
Childwall: re-opening on:- Monday, 24 November 2025, at:- 1pm.
Hunts Cross: re-opening on:- Tuesday, 25 November 2025, at:- 1pm.
Toxteth: re-opening on:- Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at:- 1pm.
Watts Lane: re-opening on:- Thursday, 27 November 2025, at:- 1pm.
