STAGECOACH, the UK’s leading bus operator, is supporting the LGBTQ+ community by offering heavily discounted travel as part of a major regional celebration.  

Chester Pride 2025 attendees can get half price open top bus tours and unlimited bus travel across the City on:- Saturday, 16 August 2025, by simply showing their event wristband. 

The offer means adult single ‘In an Hour’ City sightseeing tickets are available for just £2.50 throughout the day, when purchased directly from the driver. Tours will run from just after 9am and will operate half hourly until early evening.  

Simon Tramalloni, Interim Operations Director at Stagecoach Merseyside, said:- “We’re delighted to partner with Chester Pride to help make the event even more accessible and convenient for those attending. There are 13 bus stops along the route, covering attractions such as Roman walls and amphitheatres, architecture, riverboat crossings and the City’s famous racecourse as well as shopping, restaurants and pubs. More importantly, you can hop on and off as much as you like, giving you the flexibility to really enjoy the event and everything it has to offer. With good connections to the rail station, its also a great reason to leave the car at home.” 

Stagecoach will also have a stand at the event and will be handing out merchandise and information about local services.
