Southport Pleasureland’s Emergency Service Days Back by Popular Demand
FOLLOWING hot on the heels of its highly anticipated ‘Emergency Service’ days in June 2023, Southport Pleasureland has announced that emergency service workers will be able to enjoy discounted rider wristbands once again this summer.
In response to popular demand, the iconic Merseyside amusement park will be hosting a duo of additional Emergency Service days on the 15 and 16 July 2023, benefiting eligible individuals who were unable to attend on the initial dates, as well as returning guests keen to enjoy the plethora of rides and attractions at Southport Pleasureland once more. The park is gearing up for another busy weekend celebrating workers in the ambulance, police, and fire services, all armed forces (regular, reserves and veterans), doctors and nurses, NHS workers, prison officers, lifeboat station workers, border patrol and Blue Light Card holders, after visitors flooded through the gates during last month’s Emergency Service days. Anyone with a valid Emergency Services ID or Blue Light Card will once again be welcomed to the park alongside their family and friends, to enjoy a significant discount on rider wristbands purchased in advance online – priced at £15 for unlimited ride access throughout the day. CEO of Southport Pleasureland, Normal Wallis, said:- “We have been hosting our Emergency Service days since 2017, as our way of showing our appreciation for their tireless work keeping us all safe. The park was so well attended when we ran these special days last month, that we decided to add an extra weekend for our Emergency Service and Forces personnel to enjoy a day out with their family at a substantially reduced rate. We look forward to welcoming back those who visited last month, as well as anyone who was unable to attend in the first instance.” Southport Pleasureland’s standard ticket terms and conditions apply. The offer is only valid for purchases made online, and will not be available to purchase on the day in the park. Purchasers must produce a valid Emergency Services ID along with their booking confirmation email in order to redeem their purchase on the day. It must be their own ID.
