Experience the Magic of Music at Liverpool Philharmonic’s Open Day:- Sunday, 24 September 2023
LIVERPOOL Philharmonic throws open its doors on Sunday, 24 September 2023 for a day filled with live music, all for free. Everyone is welcome to drop in throughout the day (1pm - 10pm) for a series of musical taster sessions. The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, together with Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan, will perform music ranging from Bizet’s Carmen to John Williams’ epic Harry Potter film score. From the grandeur of classical masterpieces to the energy of contemporary compositions, experience the vast array of musical genres that make the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra so renowned. There will be performances from the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company, and takeovers in the Music Room from our partners Africa Oyé, LUMA, Liverpool Acoustic, Milap and more. And as you explore the Hall, you’ll hear the Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company showcase the phenomenal talent of the next generation of local musicians.
