Back by popular demand: Estrella Galicia's Gastronomy Month returns for its 4th year
THE annual food and drink festival, which celebrates the flavours of Spain and the refreshing taste of Estrella Galicia beers, returns to the UK and Ireland for its fourth year running.
This year Gastronomy Month will feature 21 exclusive events - from Edinburgh to Dublin, Newcastle to Liverpool, Cardiff to London; that will transport Brits to the heart of Spain’s vibrant food culture. Tickets for the event series, which includes:- Spanish Fiestas, chef-hosted dinners:- ‘Tapas Tours’ and tasting menus that bring the spirit of Spain to cities across the UK, are on sale now. The events will bring together over 120 top restaurants, bars and bodegas across the UK and Ireland, and will be hosted by an array of chefs. These include:- Brindisa’s founder Monika Linton, Michelin Star Chef Nieves Barragán Mohacho, from Sabor, Urban Brewing’s Dan Keane, and award winning Bar 44’s Owen Morgan. This year, for the first time Gastronomy Month will involve a:- 'Longest Lunches' event series. These events will take place in London and Cardiff, with a six-course tasting menu that will see guests cruising between two restaurants by boat. Guests will enjoy half of their lunch at one restaurant before being whisked down the river on a Clipper boat while indulging in a beer and boating nibbles, to the second restaurant where they will enjoy the second half of lunch. Also new for 2024 is the immersive series of:- ‘Pour &...’ events, showcasing the art of beer and food pairing. Guests will have the chance to sample the range of Estrella Galicia beers alongside a variety of specially paired dishes, curated and hosted by Beer & Food painting experts from the brand’s Beer Culture team flying in from Galicia. The series also offers expert-led jamón carving demonstrations and opportunities for guests to get hands-on and learn the culinary art for themselves. Back again for another year are much loved favourites including:- Gastronomy Month’s Spanish Fiestas and ‘Tapas Tours.’ 1 will see British cities host the ultimate Spanish party, complete with mouthwatering Spanish food, flowing Estrella Galicia beers and live entertainment. The other will see guests invited on a walking tour around the city, stopping for six delicious plates paired with Estrella Galicia beers along the way. Events will be taking place throughout Gastronomy Month in:- London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Leeds, Newcastle, Bristol, Cardiff, Southport, Prescot, and Liverpool.
