Radfield Home Care Provider Brings Community Together with Burns Night Celebration at Southport Landmark

DEMONSTRATING that care goes far beyond the home, Radfield Home Care brought members of the local community together for a vibrant:- 'Burns Night Friendship Afternoon' on:- Sunday, 25 January 2026, at:- The Grand, Southport, Merseyside.

Held at 1 of Southport's most iconic venues, the celebration honoured the life of Robbie Burns and welcomed guests for a 3 course Burns Night meal, complete with welcome drinks on arrival, followed by teas and coffees. The event focused on:- friendship, inclusion, and supporting individuals living independently at home to maintain social connections and engagement.

Guests enjoyed Scottish themed piano music, performed by Charles, which filled the venue with a warm and uplifting atmosphere. Many attendees described the afternoon as a highlight of their social calendar, praising the relaxed setting and strong sense of community.

Radfield Home Care also paid tribute to The Grand's hospitality team for their outstanding service and delicious menu, helping to ensure the celebration was both memorable and welcoming.

Safe and comfortable transport was provided by Charlton Mini Coaches, 1 of Radfield Home Care's valued community partners, who transported guests in a luxury 35 seater coach, ensuring a reliable and stress-free journey to and from the event.

The Burns Night celebration forms part of Radfield Home Care's wider commitment to tackling isolation and promoting wellbeing through community events, friendship outings, and organised coach trips.

Alongside these initiatives, Radfield Home Care delivers a full range of personalised home care services, including:- companionship visits, daily home support, and live-in care, enabling people to remain safe, independent, and supported in their own homes.
