Marine In The Community Celebrates the success of it's new state of the art Social Hub

MARINE Association Football Club's charity:- Marine In The Community (MITC), is celebrating the success of its state of the art Community Hub within a few months of its opening. The MITC officially opened in:- October 2025. alongside the growing momentum of community partnerships that are transforming local connection, wellbeing and inclusion.

Designed as a modern and welcoming space, the MITC Community Hub is already making a tangible difference. Since opening its doors, the Hub has hosted a diverse programme of activities including:- wellbeing sessions, youth initiatives and inclusive social groups, creating meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to connect, engage and thrive.

Central to this success is the ongoing support of Radfield Home Care, which are delighted to support the Hub through monthly community events and a monthly. This connection strengthens MITC's mission to combat isolation and foster social interaction, particularly for older residents and vulnerable members of the community.

Dave Bellis, Owner of Radfield Home Care, said:- "We are always delighted to support Marine In The Community, and with the launch of this state of the art Community Hub, it's incredibly exciting to be part of the growth and development of stronger community connections."

A Spokesperson for Marine In The Community (MITC) added:- "The impact of the Community Hub has been immediate and inspiring. With strong community partnerships now firmly in place, Marine In The Community is looking ahead with ambition, expanding its programme of activities and cementing its role as a central, vibrant hub for residents living in the Crosby and surrounding area.

It was founded in 1894, and its team's nicknames over the years have been:- The Mariners, and The Lilywhites. This 6th Tier English Football League club's grounds are located on:- Rossett Park, Crosby, Merseyside, has a capacity of:- 2,300 (519 seated). The club currently plays in the National League North and is also a member of both the:- Liverpool County and the Lancashire County Football Associations.
