LIVERPOOL ONE is gearing up for a fun-filled October, with the return of the River of Light, its popular Halloween Party, and a range of family-friendly activities, including curling at Stones Throw, Chavasse Park.

At the heart of the celebrations is the free Liverpool ONE Halloween Party, returning on:- Saturday, 31 October 2026 from 11am to 4pm, with a jam-packed afternoon of entertainment hosted by radio presenter Leanne Campbell. Families can expect drumming workshops, face painting, zombie dance workshops, street performers and spooky characters including witches and ‘the Humber monster’.

The much-loved Halloween fancy dress competition will also return, with the winner taking home £200 to spend at Liverpool ONE, and prizes on offer for the runners-up.

From 23 October to 1 November 2026, Liverpool will once again be transformed by River of Light, with spectacular installations lighting up the City. 1 of the standout artworks on the trail will be located at Liverpool ONE, making it a great place to stop off during an evening family visit.

Brendan Hattam, Centre Director at Liverpool ONE, said:- “October is shaping up to be a jam-packed month at Liverpool ONE. The return of River of Light and the free Liverpool ONE Halloween Party are set to bring even more excitement to the city, offering fantastic experiences for families, visitors, and the wider community to enjoy. For a spot of dinner afterwards, families can choose from a wide range of family favourites, including PizzaExpress, Wagamama and Zizzi.”

If the winter months can’t come soon enough, head to Stone’s Throw on Chavasse Park, to try curling and get a taste of the season ahead.

Other family-friendly entertainment options at Liverpool ONE include e-karts, VR gaming and immersive activities at Gravity MAX, the Upside Down House, and the Paddington Bear statue, located outside Waterstones.
