ENROLMENT is now open for a wide range of free and low-cost Sefton Community Learning Service courses.
Sefton residents and people living across the Liverpool City Region residents can now enrol in courses, designed to help them gain new skills, boost their confidence and enjoy learning.
Courses cover essential subjects such as Maths, English, and Digital Skills, as well as creative and wellbeing courses.
If you are looking to take the next step in your career or education, Sefton Community Learning Service offers courses to improve employability. For those who simply love learning, there is plenty to choose from including Conversational Spanish, Gluten-Free Cooking, Food Safety, Printmaking, and many more.
Families can also benefit from Family Learning courses, which help parents and carers support children with reading, numbers, and maths. Plus, the Wider Family Learning sessions give adults and children the chance to learn together through fun activities like baking, crafts, story time, and seasonal projects.
This year, also sees the launch of Trailblazer Construction courses in the Service’s fully equipped on-site workshop.
These hands-on courses are designed for learners 18 - 21, offering practical skills and industry knowledge to help kickstart a career in construction.
This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in building a future in this growing sector. In addition, we are offering a series of DIY workshops throughout February for learners aged 19 and over - perfect for those who want to develop practical skills for home projects in a friendly, supportive environment.
