THE mental pressures on people within the UK are growing. This means more people will become in need of support before things go too far. Many people still don't like to share their feelings or even know how to. Many might be unaware of where to get help.

Suicide is not inevitable; it is preventable and encouraging steps have been made to prevent suicide in recent years. Sadly, suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 50, within the UK.

Worryingly in recent years it's not just adults who are feeling the pressure as RCPCH have recently reported that in the UK referrals to Childline have significantly shot up, for young people with suicidal concerns.

Sadly, suicide doesn't just mean someone loses an individuals' life, as every suicide is a tragedy that can have a potentially devastating impact on:- families, communities and entire countries, even the people who witness the act or discover the casualty.

This often has long.lasting effects on the people left behind.

Over the last few years, as media, we are always hearing very upsetting cries for help, but what can we do to help those in trouble? Do you know what to do if someone is in cries?

As a nation we need to be more understanding... Let's take the time to chat and support each other!
