A quarter of men will still be hunting for presents in the last shopping hour on Christmas Eve
A quarter of British men will still be shopping for presents as shops are preparing to close on Christmas Eve, the latest research reveals, as the nation prepares for a last minute dash to the shops this weekend.
The study from Showcase Cinemas revealed a huge 25% of men will head to the high street on Sunday around 4pm compared to just 13% of women; who typically buy their gifts ahead of time. According to the research, partners (30%) are the most difficult loved 1 to buy for followed by dads (20%), mums (18%) and siblings (12%). Elsewhere, the nationwide poll of Brits found out that 23% of people buy loved ones presents that are actually for themselves, with the same number admitting they are more tempted to purchase a gift that they’ll benefit from too. Elsewhere, vouchers and gift cards (46%) were revealed as the perfect Christmas present. This comes as Showcase Cinemas launches its Christmas gift card offer.
