HSBC and Nationwide still affected by banking glitches
BOTH HSBC and Nationwide have been hit by banking glitches. Virgin Money reported similar problems, but Virgin Money have said they have since been resolved.
ON X (Formally Twitter) HSBC said:- "We’re really sorry that some customers are having issues accessing personal online and mobile banking. Our IT teams are working hard to get these services back to normal. You can still authorise online card purchases via SMS." This lead to replys saying things like:- "Would go to my high street bank but you closed that down and then closed down the nearest one to that." In response to frustrated customers replying to the post, the bank said understood their frustrations. Yet again, issues like this highlight the problems with going online only for banking.
