LIVERPOOL'S St George’s Hall and the University of Liverpool Confucius Institute proudly announce an exhilarating celebration to mark the Chinese New Year and welcome the auspicious:- 'Year of the Dragon' this February.
The Gala Event is scheduled for:- 9 February 2024 and invites attendees to immerse themselves in a mesmerizing array of cultural displays.
This year offer a collaborative extravaganza that promises to offer all those attending a captivating showcase of Chinese culture, set amidst the grandeur of our illustrious Great Hall.
Among the highlights include:- a mesmerizing traditional dragon dance, awe-inspiring martial arts demonstrations, enchanting Chinese musical performances, and a plethora of other captivating activities.
The organisers invite all attendees to elevate their experience with exclusive VIP tickets. These tickets grant access to a lavish VIP welcome reception where guests will be greeted with a glass of sparkling fizz upon arrival. Moreover, VIPs will indulge in a selection of delectable canapés while exploring the artistry of traditional Chinese crafts.
The event is a testament to the rich tapestry of cultures within Liverpool and aims to foster a sense of togetherness while honouring Chinese heritage.
