Iconic classics such as the original Star Wars trilogy and Ice Age blast back to the big screen at Vue
A host of acclaimed adventures and beloved blasts from the past are returning to Vue providing film fans and families an opportunity the catch their favourites on the big screen.
An iconic series that shaped the future of the big screen blockbuster, the original George Lucas Directed Star Wars trilogy, including A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi will all be showing this weekend at Vue. This sci-fi tale from a galaxy far, far away started on the:- 22 December 2023, with:- 'Star Wars - Episode IV - A New Hope' introducing us to the world of Luke Skywalker who must begin to awake his connection to the force and team up with iconic characters such as:- Han Solo, Chewbacca and R2D2 to take down the nefarious Darth Vader and rescue Princess Leia. Across the following 2 days, budding jedis can enjoy the space-faring adventures continue with the legendary sequel:- 'Star Wars - Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back' on:- 23 December and the Death Star defying thrills of its epic conclusion in:- 'Star Wars - Episode VI - Return of the Jedi' on:- 24 December 2023. For younger film fans, Vue will also be bringing back:- Sid The Sloth, Manny the Mammoth, Diego the Sabertooth Tiger, and Scrat the Squirrel as the entire Ice Age series also returns to mark the winter months. From the arctic tundras of the original Ice Age to other exciting locations such as the world of the dinosaurs and the pirate infested oceans, there’s plenty of fantastic fun to be had in this much beloved animated adventure series, which screens weekly from:- 5 January 2024, until the 2 February 2024.
