THIS March City Theatre will be back on stage again in Liverpool to present a new stage show:- 'Blackridge' a follow on from the acclaimed show:- 'Warnock,' which is now being prepared as a TV show.

This gritty production was penned by local Directed and Playwright Barry Levy, the play offers an unflinching and moving exploration of hope, resilience, and the enduring human spirit.

Blackridge might be a follow-on, but it is also a stand-alone show in its own right, offering a very powerful and thought-provoking script, set within a fictitious girls' youth detention centre.

This script sheds light on the harsh realities and emotional struggles experienced by young women behind bars, as it delves into the raw and compelling narratives of those who find themselves confined within the confines of a youth detention centre.

Featuring a cast of exceptional local talent:- 'Blackridge' promises to deliver a captivating and unforgettable theatrical experience. The production is set to showcase the depth of talent within the Liverpool Theatre community while captivating audiences with its evocative storytelling and compelling performances.

This production is a must-see for theatre enthusiasts and those passionate about supporting local arts and culture. Blackridge offers a poignant and timely reflection on societal issues, delivering a message that is both impactful and deeply resonant. It will take centre stage at the Esteemed Theatre, running from:- 14 March to 16 March 2024, every night at:- 7.30pm.

Audiences are invited to experience the raw and unfiltered emotions that Blackridge has to offer at Hope Street Theatre.
