Liverpool Cancer Nurses raise funds for Blood Cancer Charity
TODAY is the day when 5 Nurses from Liverpool's Clattersbridge Cancer Centre headed off to Scotland to begin their 24 hour challenge to climb the highest three mountains in the UK, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon.
To complete this challenge within 24 hours, they will have to climb Snowdon tonight night using head torches. These Cancer Nurses are undertaking this challenge to raise funds for the Bloom Appeal, a charity close to their hearts as it supports patients with blood cancer diagnosis across Merseyside. These Cancer Nurses have already raised £1,810 before they set off from Liverpool this morning, according to their Just Giving Page.
