The Rookery Community Day in Southport returns with family fun day supporting Bebe's Hive

FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy a fantastic day of fun, entertainment and community spirit when:- 'The Rookery Community Day' in Southport, returns, on:- Sunday, 5 July 2026, in aid of:- Bebe’s Hive UK.

From junior and women’s cricket, over:- 20 fantastic stalls and vendors, a huge selection of food, fairground rides, live music, games (including Beat the Keeper!), a fully stocked marquee bar and so much more... There's something for everyone to enjoy.

This is a day all about bringing our community together while raising vital funds for the Bebe’s Hive.

Following the tremendous success of last year's event, organisers are promising an even bigger and better day out for 2026, with more stalls, more fairground rides and a packed programme of cricket matches taking place throughout the day.

The Family Fun Day will run from:- 12 pm until 7 pm, at:- Southport Trinity Cricket Club, on:- Roe Lane, Southport, and promises something for everyone.

Visitors can enjoy live entertainment from local acts such as:- Hayley Murray, Kelly Bond, Connected Voices, So Talented and Express Performing Arts, hosted by Trevor Ford of Mighty Radio.

There will be a huge variety of food stalls, family attractions and the opportunity to purchase their favourite Bebe's Hive merchandise.-

Admission is priced a:-t £5 for adults and £2 for children aged over 2 years old.

Everyone is welcome to come along, enjoy a fantastic family day out and support a wonderful local cause.

A major raffle will give attendees the chance to win some fantastic prizes, including Apple AirPods, a £50 voucher for The Atkinson and a £50 voucher for The Grand.

Cricket will remain at the heart of the event, with matches being played throughout the day, showcasing the sport and creating a vibrant atmosphere for spectators and players alike.

A Trinity Cricket Club spokesperson said:-  “The countdown is officially on for the Rookery Community Day with Bebe’s Hive, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to what promises to be an incredible day at The Rookery! From junior and women’s cricket, over 20 fantastic stalls and vendors, a huge selection of food, fairground rides, live music, games (including Beat the Keeper!), a fully stocked marquee bar and so much more... there’s something for everyone to enjoy. This is a day all about bringing our community together while raising vital funds for Bebe’s Hive, and we’d love to see as many of you there as possible.”

The raffle for our Community Day with Bebe’s Hive is shaping up to be something special, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs while raising money for an incredible cause.

Every ticket purchased helps raise vital funds for Bebe’s Hive, making a real difference while bringing our community together. 

Bebe's Hive is currently in the process of creating a dedicated creative support space in Southport for grieving children and families, following the loss of:- Lauren and Ben King's daughter, Bebe, in 2024. Everything they are building comes from a place of love, community and wanting to ensure children feel safe, seen and supported after loss.

Organisers are hoping for another outstanding turnout to help raise vital funds while bringing people together for a memorable summer celebration.
